Offshore Capability
FishNewportRI operates a 32 foot Regulator center console selected for serious offshore performance and reliable inshore fishing around Newport, Rhode Island. Built for range, stability, and speed, the boat is designed to handle both offshore tuna fishing and inshore striped bass charters without compromise.
Powered by 600 horsepower, the vessel cruises comfortably above 30 knots, allowing us to reach offshore tuna grounds efficiently and adjust to changing fishing conditions. Speed and range allow us to follow temperature breaks, locate bait concentrations, and stay with moving bluefin tuna feeds while maximizing safe fishing windows.
Offshore bluefin tuna charters are limited to four anglers. This allows better mobility during active fights and maintains a safe and controlled fishing environment.
Inshore Striped Bass Performance
While built for offshore capability, the boat performs equally well for inshore fishing charters around Newport and Narragansett Bay. The deep V hull provides stability when drifting live bait, working reefs, or casting artificials along rocky shoreline structure.
For striped bass charters, the layout allows anglers to fish comfortably using a variety of techniques including live bait fishing, vertical jigging, and casting plugs or soft plastics. The open deck design provides space for multiple anglers to fish without crowding.
Inshore striped bass trips can accommodate up to six anglers, making them ideal for families, small groups, and anglers looking to experience one of the most popular Newport RI fishing charters.
